Rs 15,000, collected from the Donation box kept at Omni Hospital, was used to provide a fresh coat of paint to the classrooms of Govt Primary School in Ghazipur, near Chandigarh. The children studying in the school, all aged between 6-12, were suffering from repeated allergies and infections due to the depleted condition of the classrooms.
Earlier, on 28 September 2018, we handed over note-books, drawing books, crayons and story books for the school library. This activity was undertaken under our Sikhya programme.
